Sponsor a Shelter Pet Photography Session
Shelters and foster based rescues do amazing work and perform miracles on a daily basis for dogs, cats and other adoptable animals. However, most shelters are not set up with the resources (time, equipment or skills) to help them promote the animals in their care. In many cases, their best photos comes down to a blurry, poorly lit "intake photo" snapped with a cell phone in a moment when the animal is mostly likely scared and confused. It’s not their best moment.
Every day, families around the country are searching through tens of thousands of photos, looking for a new family pet. It’s easy to excuse the poorly lit and blurry photo of a scared animal. Giving that same animal a chance to relax and an opportunity to get away from the hustle and noise of a shelter by giving them a place to feel comfortable can make all the difference in the world. Now take some photos with a professional lighting and gear, and that animal looks completely different. Its photos no longer get passed up. They get noticed. Instead of scared or sad animal, they see a future best friend….

It All Started With Shelter Pet Photography
Prior to becoming a full-time animal photographer in 2014, I began volunteering as a shelter pet photographer with the Cleveland APL in 2012. Great photos can make a real difference in the amount of time an animal spends in a shelter.
You Can Make a Difference
On average, we typically donate around 5 shelter pet sessions a month and would love to do many more.
As a business owner, we do have to rely on my private and commercial animal photography work as a source of income.
To photograph more animals in need of forever homes and to get them the exposure that they deserve, we need your help.
Sponsorship Options
$20 per pet will be used to boost Instagram and Facebook posts in order to increase the exposure of the photographed animal(s) so we can find them a home as quickly as possible.
The donation amounts listed are still a steep discount of our normally priced private sessions. They help to cover the cost of time photographing, editing photos and video, supplies and equipment.
The sponsor (You or your company) will be listed on all posts as the sponsor of the shoot. You can also remain anonymous if you’d prefer.
